IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT WASING PARK IN BERKSHIRE, YOU’LL LOVE THIS!

Riana and Cameron got married at Wasing Park, which is an estate made up of a set of romantic farm buildings to sit alongside the 15th century Parish Church of St Nicholas in Berkshire. It was a gorgeous day!

The ceremony

The ceremony was an intimate service inside the parish Church of St Nicholas. Due to covid, the couple had only 2 guests attend while both sets of parents were in Australia. During the ceremony, The couple were able to live stream the wedding via Zoom so the family could all watch, including mums and dads in Aus. It was so lovely they could still be a part of it.

Weddings at Wasing Park are amazing because you are given access to the entire estate, including the Victorian Summerhouse and a glass-walled Garden Room for civil ceremonies, luxurious boutique rooms, a Honeymoon Suite to die for, a bridal cottage the night before the big day, a groom's room and an after-party late-night bar, simply nothing has been forgotten.

Why Wasing Park is a great place to get married

Wasing Park is perfect for couples who want to have everything in one place, including staying the night before and night of the wedding, and is one of the best places to get married in Berkshire. The venue offers not only multiple spots to have a civil ceremony, but also a church on site too – and there are so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.

The couple

Riana wore a dress from London Bridal Couture and Cameron wore a classic black tux from Suit Supply and they looked really amazing.

The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their inquiry was so lovely. They said they just wanted to be married, and I loved that they were both so chilled and relaxed. Having got married myself recently to a small number of guests due to covid, I can empathise with this feeling. When you have smaller numbers, you're not worrying about 100s of guests so it allows you to really take everything in and more importantly, enjoy the day.

Advice for planning your wedding at Wasing Park

Whilst I only photographed the ceremony for this wedding due to Covid, Riana & Cameron have asked me back to photograph their friends and family for a big party for those that couldn't be there this time and I can't wait to spend the day with these two amazing people again.

"Where to start! Tommy is a legend. After considering many photographers for our special day, when we came across Tommy we knew there was only really one option. Far from your average photographer, Tommy goes the extra mile to understand your personal taste and you can be rest assured your photos will reflect this. Our wedding was originally postponed due to COVID and we ended up tying the knot just the two of us as our wedding party and family are stuck in Australia! Tommy has only been supportive and flexible. He agreed to transfer the old date to a date in the future and also photograph the intimate ceremony with just the two of us at a very competitive rate. My wife and I are so glad we asked Tommy to capture our small ceremony - we will always cherish these photos. On reflection, we both say it felt more like having a friend there on the day. Roll on to the big ceremony where we know Tommy will work his magic all over again!"
