Martin and Vicki got married at Hengrave Hall, which is a grade 1* listed Tudor mansion in Suffolk with 350 acres of formal gardens, orchards and picturesque countryside. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

The ceremony

The ceremony was a church service which is located within the grounds, steps away from the Main House. Perfect for those that want a church and reception all in the same place! During the ceremony After the ceremony, Martin had organised a surprise 'Love Actually Moment' when a choir began singing 'All You Need is Love' complete with guests standing up with their hidden brass instruments playing along. It was Vicki's face in the picture. It went down so well!

They decorated the area with flowers, which I loved. The reception was located in The Banqueting Hall, which is also where you could have your civil ceremony if you didn't want to marry in their church. You can also have your civil ceremony in the library or dining room at Hengrave Hall – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Hengrave Hall are amazing because the grounds are absolutely amazing.

Why Hengrave Hall is a great place to get married

Hengrave Hall has everything you expect and more from a wedding: a beautiful manor house, stunning gardens and multiple places to have your ceremony. Not many venues have a church on their grounds and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Suffolk. The venue offers an exceptional selection of bedrooms. The rooms are exclusively reserved for you and your guests, which allows you to handpick the bedrooms to suit each individual person. – and there is an orchard that’s perfect for photos.

The couple

Martin wore a textured grey suit from Suit Supply and Vicki wore a dress from Pronovias. One of my personal favourite dressmakers. and they looked really gorgeous. The groomsman suits were from Moss Bros.

The couple got in touch with me years ago, and their enquiry came off the back of working with the Martins band previously as a commercial photographer. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they were so relaxed.
