Holly and Sam got married at The Orangery, a multi-award-winning wedding venue in Kent. It’s a rural oasis in an urban location, the perfect indoor and outdoor wedding venue benefitting from unbeatable transport links and accommodation options. It was a gorgeous day and completed with a beautiful snowy landscape in mid-December.

Getting hitched at The Orangery Maidstone

The ceremony took place in their magnificent Garden Room which is 1 of 3 possible spaces you can choose to have your ceremony. They decorated the area with multiple Christmas trees, which looked so lovely. The reception was a beautiful spacious room where you'll also sit and eat your wedding breakfast at The Orangery. Weddings at The Orangery are amazing because the surroundings are just incredible and offer so many great opportunities for portraits

Why The Orangery Maidstone is a great place to get married

The Orangery is an exclusive-use venue set within nine acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Maidstone. The venue offers onsite parking so guests don’t have to walk – and there are so many incredible backdrops that are perfect for photos.

Tell me how you both met

We met on Hinge during lockdown.

Tell me about the proposal

We were away in Windsor for our anniversary and Sam proposed at Don Beni, an Italian restaurant. We celebrated with limoncello.

How did you know that he/she was THE ONE? (your take)

Sam made me laugh and I could be silly with him. We always had fun together and I never wanted our time together to end.

How did you know that he/she was THE ONE? (their take)

I felt like i’d known Holly my whole life. We got on so well.

What made you choose The Orangery Maidstone?

We had visited a few different venues but when we walked into the Orangery we got a really good feeling about it. We could picture our wedding there and both knew it was the right choice.
