BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS WEDDING AT CORNHILL CASTLE, BIGGAR SCOTLAND – CHARLOTTE & JAMES

Charlotte and James got married at Cornhill Castle Hotel, which is a hidden gem nestled in the countryside in Biggar, Scotland with stunning panoramic views overlooking some of Scotland’s most wonderful scenery. It was a beautiful day and the sun even made an appearance!

The serious part

The ceremony was a humanist service in a gazebo. During the ceremony, they read their own vows. It was a real tear-jerker. There wasn't a dry eye in the house...including me.

They decorated the area with their own handmade arch covered in beautiful flowers, which I loved. The reception was in a beautiful room at Cornhill Castle Hotel – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at Cornhill Castle Hotel are amazing because the grounds are absolutely amazing.

The couple

Charlotte wore a dress from WED2B with the frame of the dress designed and made entirely by herself to give it the perfect shape and James wore a suit from Oliver Brown and they looked really incredible. Big fan of the bowtie James!

Charlotte & I have been friends for around 11 years, so when I was asked to photograph my friends' wedding, I was genuinely honored and privileged. They both make the perfect couple.

I love photographing couples like James and Charlotte. Couples who are madly in love and don't take themselves too seriously.
